Located in the Woodlawn/West Ouachita school zones at 2253 Lapine Road, West Monroe, which is 3.5 miles from Hwy 34
Wonderful family home on 2-1/2 park-like acres. 3 BD/2 BA, with a large office which can be a 4th bedroom; New stainless steel appliances in kitchen; Great Room with fireplace; Master suite with walk-in closets; big laundry room (with washer/dryer if you want); lots of closets! Covered front porch, a back deck with lower patio. Riding lawn mower stays! Lots of flowers that return each year! Nature lover’s dream! Lots of privacy!!!
I am moving out of state. Home will be ready to move in mid-July!
Different options to consider: Buy for $72,000. Or you can assume the 1st mortgage with a $428 mo. payment and pay off 2nd mortgage of $15,000. Or assume the 1st mortgage and then pay me the monthly payment of $213 until you can get a loan to pay off 2nd mortgage. Assuming the loans will only be $69,000 total with no closing costs. Also will consider long term lease for right person at $750 a month until you can assume the loans.
Big dining room and kitchen. Kitchen has stainless steel refrigerator and stove and a black dishwasher. All the appliances are just 5 years old. Lots of oak cabinets.
Great Room with stone fireplace. Room for the kids and the TV on one side . . .
and Mom and Dad can relax by the fire on the other side
Master bedroom suite has 2 walk-in closets plus a closet in the master bath. Large garden tub in the bathroom and double sinks/mirrors.
Children's rooms are on the other side of the house by the kitchen and are equal in size. Right now they are painted in purple and light green colors but you can easily change that color scheme.
There is also a large Office located off the Great Room which can be another bedroom or guest room or a hobby room. The laundry room is large and I can leave the washer/dryer if you want.
There is a covered carport and a whole load of firewood for this coming winter!!!
There are plenty of places to relax outside at this beautiful home. Here is the back deck. I can leave this deck furniture & table and chairs if you would like.
Here is a sitting area in the front yard.A covered front porch with a bubbling fountain to listen to.
You can get back to nature right out your back door.
There are lots of trails and walking paths winding through out the park-like 2.5 acres.
I will leave this 5 year old riding lawn mower so you won't have any trouble cutting the yard. It takes about 3 hours to cut the whole thing but you can divide it up like I do - the front half one week and the back half the next week.
Also before I leave, I will be having the driveway graded and will try to have a load of rocks spread in the driveway circle.
All the flowers are perennial which means they come back year after year getting bigger and prettier. There are jillions of daffodils blooming in early spring, tiger-lillies and daylilies and hostas in early summer. And several beautiful wildflower patches. There are many fall blooming flowers as well. I've planted rose bushes, irises, lantana, canna, so many different varieties too numerous to name. And they all come back on their own! Easy care! I have also planted several redbud trees and dogwood trees to bloom in the spring time. There is color everywhere during each season!! And there are so many variety of birds that visit my yard.
This is truly a Nature Lover's Dream Get Away!
